Michele Lyon Fine Art

If I want to feel at peace and joy, I look for beauty in what I see and then create from there. I love it when my art touches another person’s soul.

About Me

I have never known anything other than being a creative person. From the time I was young, I lived in a world of my imagination, which helped me to accept the outside world in my own way.

Creating has always taken on different forms. As long as I could create, I would sometimes do things that I felt were possibly beyond my reach.

It helped that I grew up in art galleries. My father owned two in an art community in New Mexico. I had extensive exposure and schooling in the arts, which would also include the many years I spent as an interior designer.

Looking back, I see a clear pattern in my artistic evolution. The more risks I took, the greater my chances were of reaching my imaginative goals. Picasso once said, “Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.”
